カスタムROM

カスタムROM（カスタムロム）とは、主にスマートフォンなどにインストールされる、サードパーティによる改変がされたOSのことである。俗にカスロムと呼ばれることもある。Android Open Source Project （AOSP）をベースとしたAndroidのソースコードを書き換えたものが大半を占めており、各社・各団体はこのAOSPをもとに独自のROMを作成している。カスタムROMのうちオープンソースである、EMUIやMIUIをベースにして更にカスタムしたものも存在する。またUbuntu TouchなどのLinuxに基づくものもある。
