ミソサザイ科（ミソサザイか、学名 Troglodytidae）は、鳥類スズメ目の1科である。
ミソサザイ（鷦鷯）と総称されるが、狭義にはその1種をミソサザイと呼ぶ。
特徴
全長9 - 20cm[1]。嘴（くちばし）は細長くやや下に湾曲している。
地上や、倒木の下などの狭い空間で、昆虫などをついばんで食べる。
系統と分類
キバシリ科はブユムシクイ科 Polioptilidae と姉妹群である[2]。これらはウグイス上科 Sylvioidea から分離されたキバシリ上科に含まれる[2]。
かつて最大の属だった Thryothorus 属は多系統であり、互いにそう遠くはないがおそらく単系統は形成しない Pheugopedius・Thryophilus・Cantorchilus の3属と、系統的に大きく離れた単型属(チャバラマユミソサザイ)属 Thryothorus の計4属に分割された[3]。
歴史
伝統的にはゴジュウカラ科 Sittidae・キバシリ科 Certhiidae・マネシツグミ科 Mimidae・カワガラス科 Cinclidae などと近縁だと考えられていた[4]（このうち現在の分類でミソサザイ科と同じキバシリ上科に含まれるのはゴジュウカラ科とキバシリ科である）。
Beecher (1953) はキバシリ科 Certhiidae と共にチメドリ上科 Timalioidea に含め、ウグイス上科 Sylvioidea に含まれたマネシツグミ科などとは区別した[5]。
Sibley & Ahlquist (1990) はウグイス上科内の拡大したキバシリ科にミソサザイ亜科 Troglodytinae として含めた。
