ケアシガニ科

ケアシガニ科 (Majidae) はカニの科の一つで、52属に海産種200種を擁する分類群である。甲羅の形状は甲幅より甲長の方が長く、正面に向かって細くなっている。いくつかの種では脚が非常に長くなり、 クモガニ (Spider crab) と呼ばれるものもある。外骨格は、カニがカモフラージュのために付着させた藻類などで覆われることが多い。
