カロン・ラン

「カロン・ラン」（ウェールズ語: Calon Lân、清き心）はウェールズ語の歌である。歌詞は1890年代に(ダニエル・ジェイムズ)（英語版）（詩人としての名前グイロシズ Gwyrosydd で知られる）によって書かれ、(ジョン・ヒューズ)（英語版）による旋律に乗せて歌われる^[1]。この歌は元々聖歌として作られたが^[2]、(ウェールズのラグビーユニオン)（英語版）と結び付いたラグビーのアンセムとして定着した。ウェールズ代表が戦うほぼ全てのテストマッチの試合前に歌われる。

この歌はS4Cのテレビシリーズ「(Codi Canu)（ウェールズ語版）」（2007年の第1シーズン）で歌われた伝統的なウェールズ語の歌の1つであった。

「カロン・ラン」は、歌詞の英語版がほぼ歌われたことがないという点で他の人気の伝統的なウェールズ語の歌（例えば「(Cwm Rhondda)（英語版）」）とは異なっている。しかし、旋律は例えば(英国メソジスト)（英語版）の賛美歌集『(賛美歌と詩編)（英語版）』^[3]でも見られ、(P・ P・ブリス)（英語版）による歌詞「I will Sing the Wondrous Story」はこの旋律で歌われる。

スペイン語版も存在し、主にパタゴニアにある元ウェールズ人入植地(ア・ウラドゥヴァ)（英語版）のウェールズ系アルゼンチン人によって歌われる。
