「Xファクター」の第6シーズンで準優勝。2010年に「Please Don't Let Me Go」でデビュー。 全英1位を記録した。その後、デビューアルバムである「Olly Murs」を発売。2011年に「In Case You Didn't Know」を発売。このうちシングルになった「Heart Skips a Beat」と「Dance with Me Tonight」は全英1位を記録している。2012年にアルバム『Right Place Right Time』で日本デビュー。「Troublemaker」は彼の4枚目の全英1位のシングルとなった。

略歴

イングランド、エセックス出身。父ピーター・マーズと母ヴィッキー・リン・マーズの間に生まれる^[3][4]双子の兄ベンがいる。父方の曾祖父母からラトビア系の血をひいている^[3]。
