イアン・マディソン（Ian Maddieson）は、ニューメキシコ大学の言語学の名誉教授であり、以前はカリフォルニア大学バークレー校にいた。

国際音声学会の副会長と(実験音韻論協会)（英語版）の事務総長を務めた。
